Co-Founder and CPO

Traize

Four friends and I founded Traize because valuable knowledge was hard to find and often had never been captured. We secured an IGP grant to bring the idea to life. As CPO, I shape the platform’s design and usability. We explore ways to make knowledge easier to collect and retrieve, helping people and companies capture their knowledge and find it when they need it. I am also part of the Traize Research team.

Career1Group

At C1G, we aim to give our participants the best possible learning experience in Germany’s continuing education sector. To support that, I’m building a complete AI supported content management system. I design and build the entire data schema, carry out data migrations, develop the frontend with React, and support content generation through advanced AI agent workflows. We build microservices with Go and use Google Cloud and Langfuse. My work also covers evaluation, deployment, production monitoring, and BigQuery pipelines.

Working Student

AstraZeneca

I returned to the Definiens team in 2019, by then part of AstraZeneca. In computational pathology, I implemented and adapted neural networks for segmentation and artifact detection on immunohistochemistry tissue images. This was my first experience of professional programming and a formative year for my work in data science.

Intern

Definiens AG

After starting out in statistics, I wanted to work closer to biology. My internship at Definiens introduced me to programming, web development, data visualization, and data science, and set me on the path to bioinformatics. Definiens had been acquired by AstraZeneca’s MedImmune in 2014; I returned to the team in 2019.
